Thinking in broad brush strokes, Laura is passionate about working through the big themes of a story and designing a structure to be impactful and fun to watch. Born in Cornwall, Laura studied animation at Savannah College of Art and Design and worked in NYC before moving to London where she is now based. Laura has worked on a myriad of animated and live action commercials, films and narrative games - see resume & visualisation work here. This involves working closely with directors in pre-production, to design and visualise their stories, a process which has been invaluable as she now directs films herself. Placing a high value on clarity, honesty and being well prepared, Laura wants to make the process of creating collaboratively as beautiful as the content itself.
